On December 10, 7th grade was transported back in time for Outsiders Day. The Outsiders Day was a day to celebrate the differences between Greasers and Socs, two rival groups from S.E. Hinton's coming-of-age novel The Outsiders. It was a day that allowed the students to dress in the “typical” dress from the 1950’s, and put themselves in character. Overall, it was a day for them to step outside of their comfort zone and wear something a little different from what they are used to wearing.
